Organized by the Geneva Wizards, Talampaya is one of Europe’s longest-running ultimate frisbee tournaments. This year, Talampaya will have a new format: TALAMPAYA JUNIORS!

Dates and venue

Talampaya Juniors will take place on Sunday 8 – Monday 9 June 2025 at the usual venue, Centre sportif de Vessy, Geneva, Switzerland.

A separate event, Talampaya & Friends, will take place on Saturday 7 June 2025, for adult teams Geneva and nearby. More details about Talampaya & Friends will follow in due course.

Please note that all fields at the venue are on synthetic turf.

About Talampaya Juniors

Talampaya Juniors will have two divisions:

  • U17 (players born in 2009 or later)
  • U20 (players born in 2006 or later).

Talampaya Juniors is an Open tournament, 5×5 players on the field. Open teams can include male and female players.

Registration

Registration for Talampaya Juniors is open. Register online now via this Google Form!

We will acknowledge receipt of your registration within 24 hours. The registration deadline is Saturday 15 March.

The list of registered teams will be updated regularly on the Talampaya Facebook page.

Costs and deadlines

The “Participant fee” is CHF 60 per person. There is no “Team fee”. The participant fee is the same for all participants, including players, coaches and non-players.

The Participant fee includes:

  • Sunday: lunch and dinner
  • Monday: breakfast and lunch
  • Camping at the tournament venue

Meat and vegan options will be provided for all meals. Participants should bring their own plates, cutlery and glasses.

The key deadlines are:

  • 15 March: Registration deadline
  • 31 March: First payment deadline. Pay 5 Participant fees (CHF 300) to secure your team’s spot
  • 12 May: Second payment deadline. Pay all remaining Participant fees
  • 26 May: Roster lock. Provide final details of all participants, including players, coaches and non-players.

Payments

Payments should preferably be made in Swiss francs (CHF).

For teams that want to pay in Euros (EUR), please contact the organizers to check the EUR amount before making the payment. We will use the UBS currency converter to get the correct rate.

Cancellations / Reimbursements

If a team has to cancel, please let us know at talampaya@wizards.ch as soon as possible. Please don’t cancel unless you really need to!!!!!!!! Please be aware that if you do need to cancel, we may not be able to reimburse any fees that have already been paid.

No reimbursements can be made after the roster lock.

Accommodation

On-site camping is included in the Participant fee. Bring your tent!

The campsite is available from Saturday 7 June.

No other accommodation options are provided by the organizers.

Travel

Address

From the airport

It takes about 50 minutes to get from the airport to the Talampaya venue by public transport. There are various options and routes. 

By train

We encourage teams to come to Geneva by train when possible. It takes about 35 minutes to get from the Cornavin train station to the Talampaya venue by public transport.

By bus

Take the 7 or 11 bus. Get off the bus at the “Bout du Monde” stop, then walk about 10 minutes. Check the TPG.ch web site for route planners and timetables.

By car

There is no car parking available at the venue. Cars can be parked at the P+R Bout du Monde, about 10 minutes by foot from the venue.
